On September 13, 1958, the Council on Mental Health of the American Medical Association formally accepted hypnosis and recommended its inclusion in the curriculum of Medical Schools and post-graduate Residencies. The British Medical Association had previously recognized hypnosis for psychiatric and surgical use.
No longer are all hypnotherapists thought of as charlatans or stage entertainers. Hypnosis is fast becoming a quicker, less expensive method of treatment in these accelerated times.
Hypnotherapists have the ability to go directly to the cause (in the subconscious) and eliminate symptoms.  Everyone has the natural ability to unleash the unlimited power of his or her subconscious mind to accomplish specific goals and empower their lives. Empowerment is always a main goal in the professional life of a good hypnotherapist.
Included here are only a few of the specific applications that hypnotherapists regularly employ:

  • Anxiety
